I wish I could! I'd like to start bullet journaling, but I haven't bought an appropriate notebook yet. Writing letters to loved ones (regardless of if I actually send them) is about as close as I get.

I have a prayer journal. I find it a very useful and effective way to vent my feelings or any troubles I may be having.

I keep both, a diary to write notes and memorable quotes and a journal to document my experiences good or bad, my failures, my success stories and my goals.

I keep a journal in which I write a daily to-do list, motivation quotes and feelings about each day. It has proven to be really helpful for me :)

A diary or a journal? None

I actually don't keep a journal or a diary. This is mainly because I would never be able to maintain it and keep writing in it consistently. However, a large part of it is also that I wouldn't like to keep my private thoughts written out where someone could easily find it and read it. I just think that's a total invasion of privacy and would be awful.

I don't for the same reason as @Genaaa.
Thoughts are best reserved for my mind, as there are some that I would not want others coming across. :)

I keep a journal, or I should say journals. They are everywhere. I'd hate to have to put them in order! I use them for everything from what happened during the day to start ideas to poems.

I keep a journal but I don't write in it daily. I make time to write in it twice a week.

I used to write everyday from Grade 5 to my sophomore year in college. I feel that as I grow older it is less about therapy and more about me documenting my life and seeing how far I have grown or come.

Nope. It takes a lot of time and I can't seem to find the spare time to do it (I have 5 children). I've thought about writing one just to keep my thoughts organized and to remember some of the funny things my kids say or do but so far it is just remembered by retelling it over and over to others through the years.

I've always kept a journal every now and then. It's nice. But the twist comes when someone else picks it up.

I used to, but i haven't for some years now. Some times I go through my old diaries, makes me asses how I am doing now versus how I performed in the past.

I kept a diary as a child, but haven't in my adult years.

I tried keeping a diary but then I realised I would rather write down my secrets in my heart. They are safer there.
