I keep a journal to write in when I feel life is getting a little to stressful. It helps to get my thoughts and feelings out of my head and onto paper where they feel a little more organised.

I do keep a journal. I have many different ones because I have a hard time filling up one before moving on to another. I hide them so my sisters can't find them. I also write short stories and Poems in them.

I'm with those who said they've tried, but haven't been consistent with it. I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one!

I like to keep a notebook where I write a lot of different things down. I write things I want to watch, things I want to read, songs that I like, dreams that I had, projects I want to work on, and things I want to make (art, food). There is a lot of information that I like to keep track of from time to time. I'm not as consistent as I would like to be.

No. I only made journals when they were required in school, but I've never had a diary. I guess it's just not for me.

I've kept the same diary for the past 10 years. The entries have been sporadic, but I tend to enter one every few months. It's been a good long-term reflection tool despite the cringe.

A diary and journal has completely different uses. Myself personally keeps a journal where I note all my goals, ideas, and creative thoughts. Diaries are more than welcome to relate but it's not what it was created to do. Diaries are to hold your secrets, personal feelings and thoughts on life, what you did today and how you wish it could've been better, what you wish you would've done different, and regrets you wouldn't want a soul to know. Journals are created to be shared, to write down your creative thoughts and ideas than make them real and known to others.
