Anything new is good. Therefore, a new career is not an exception because you are anxious of a number of things; new pay, friends, new environment etc. So, the uncertainty part of the newness makes the whole thing exciting.

It's not so much about meeting new people for me. That's the part that gives me anxiety. What makes me excited about the prospects of a new career is that I'll be able to give myself new challenges and grow (probably in ways I hadn't before) as an individual.

I get excited by the newness of a new career and learning about my new position. Then my mind runs with ideas of what will I can accomplish and the good ways it will affect my family.

If the prospects look really good - better work environment, opportunities to learn new things, great people, opportunities for growth, good pay - anyone would be excited. But I daresay they'd be crazy to leave someone they truly value in exchange for all those

Anytime you are starting on a new adventure, which a new career is, there are endless possibilities. It is such a hopeful, even if scary, time. I also like that when I begin big new things like this, I find myself doing, and being good at, things I could have never imagined!

I just recently started a new career and being a newbie makes me excited. I love training and being kinda entitled to commit mistakes because they know that you're just a beginner and they are linient on you. I love having mentors giving you great advices about the job. Finally, I love looking forward to how I would grow in this new career ^_^
