I love Godfredo and Max because they have their own unique irritating but amazing characteristics. Max is a well-mannered engineer but not true to his promises at all times. Godfredo is a happy-go-lucky person but he is a true friend.

I think that Max's uncle Alan was an unforgettable character in the novel The Expansion.
I only read the few chapters of the book, and there were several characters that were
irresponsible adults. Alan was one of the few characters that seemed responsible or had morals.

Genghis Khan from conn iggulden's Khan series I really love that book or Lucio from maria correli's Sorrows of Satan. He was conning and interesting.
