Some things are really hard to imagine. Even those who hate their parents will feel empty when one of their parents dies. For me, it would prove hard to cope.

That is one thing I find very hard :( my father died 3 years ago and it has never been the same for us. No one from the family visits anymore, contacts have become short and money as a greater problem for my studies :'(

I appreciate my parents for the upbringing they gave me. Without them, I can't even imagine how my life would be.

I totally enjoyed that book. But I'll like to hear how others felt after reading the book "The Expansion" and their general conclusions on the book.

It's a little different for me. I lost my mother when I was child, so now I constantly worry about my father. In learning and experiencing death at a young age, it has made me fear losing people. I honestly don't know how I'll handle my father's death when he goes. It scares me to think about it. I feel the same way about my sister.

I can't imagine a life without my parents. My mother has always been my caregiver and counseller, always ready to listen, and my father was always my pillar of support and guidance.

I'm at that age where it wouldn't really matter financially. Emotionally and psychologically though, it would be a blow. There's something about having someone to go home to that makes you sleep easier at night.

Life without my parent is nothing. If my parent are no longer with me I guess it's not gonna take longer to be alone but I rather go after them and see them again in the eternal life. If my parent are not with me, my life will struggle. It will be difficult. I will suffer and die in hungry and thirsty, loneliness which makes me weaker and hopeless.

I'm already living away from them, and I am managing. If one day they'd really have to leave me, I can go on simply because I must, since I now have other reasons--other people in my life--to keep living.
