I agree, Snowflake. I'm ok without those scenes. I think the interactions, conversations and so on are more meaningful than just getting the steam going.

If the writer is good, he/she does not have to be so descriptive about gushy love scenes. The reader may get the idea and proceed with the story.

yes depends upon writer's way of writing. and also on reader's taste

I do agree with you. There are love scene that is too dirty. but, the reader will judge because we cannot please everyone.

I much prefer love scenes which leave the reader to use their imagination to fill in the details. Less is more.

I agree. There are some authors who make use of the gushy love scenes to lengthen their story or to catch the attention of their readers even if the love scenes do not really fit the story.

I find racy scenes cheesy and tend to skip over them when reading a book. I can definitely do without it.

I'm sorry if I have a different oppinion from everyone else, but I think that there is nothing wrong with racy scenes in a romance novel. Don't get me wrong tho, I totally understand why many of us don't like it very much.

That is exactly what I think. If it is in a romance genre, it is not a problem but if it is a fantasy genre. It is very much off tangent.

I guess most people don't like description of that much love scenes

I feel this way too. It seems like a lot of us on the page feel the same way....

I concur with you both. There are moments that they fit in and it doesn't make it feel over the top, but I still feel like I would enjoyed the book just as much, or maybe more, without them!

Love scene also play a great role as it is a part of life. It stimulate the feeling of the reader to feel as the part of that story

I prefer the "racey" parts be left out. There is something about leaving something to the imagination. I don't like to read about every intimate detail.
