I don't think I would risk everything to peruse something. Everything has its own place in the life.

yes i have done it and it's paid off before. I've always had the balls to do things like that though.

I would not, simply because the new opportunity may not work out after all.

Personally, I wouldn't risk everything for a situation. Unless it's really important, like saving the world or knowing no one else is affected by it, then I wouldn't take the chance. I like stability, and while I'm not as conventional as my peers, I'd rather stay in the realm of normalcy then explore the unknown completely. I've got a problem with my emotions and mental stability, so I tend to break easily whenever taking up unnecessary risks.

No, I'd never have done it. I've never had to put everything on the line but I will if the prospects are great and it will be born out of wisdom and not self...

Exactly, having a supportive partner is ideal and if your partner isn't supportive of your dreams and ambitions ...How stable can that relationship really be? I would risk losing a lot of stability to chase a dream cause regrets hurt a lot! More so regrets of not having tried when you had the chance to. All you will be left with is "What if"

It is easy to say yes until an actual opportunity is presented. Then is when the true difficulty will be experienced. I don't think I would have been able to take the opportunity but perhaps if it were the right opportunity for me then maybe I would. Damned if I do... damned if I don't kind of situation

I might risk everything in order to pursue something like this... But I believe one must always have a Plan B to fall back on in case the original plan doesn't work out...

I would probably put everything on the line for something that I was really passionate about and believed in.

I liked that Max followed his passion and listened to his heart. Taking risks like these make life much more exciting... I think I would have done the same

I agree, Max did the right thing ending this relationship. If the love for Sarah would have been bigger than his desire to go to Panama to follow his dreams / he would have stayed in London.

If its worth risking everything for, then I'd go for it. As long as I have the support of those who believe in me, nothing could hold me back.

It would all depend on what the thing I was going to pursue was. If it was something that held great significance for me and my values, and could also benefit a large number of people, then I possible would.

I would really depend on the intensity of my relationship with my fiancee or partner and how much I really want the job. For Max, it was like a dream job knocking on his door. It is understandable that he went for it.

I would never risk everything for such an opportunity. In my opinion, it shows how serious the relationship was to have risked that love for this new opportunity. In my case, I would rather have the support of my loved ones and I would never have been able to bear choosing this opportunity if it meant that I would have to let go of them.
