I don't think so. When there is a big decision like that in my life, I would like the support of my loved ones.

I will always follow my dreams. Yes, it might seem selfish at first, but I think it's very important to be able to realise my dreams. That said, I don't think people should have to choose between their significant other and a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I would not risk everything. I don't know if the opportunity is actually true, however, my future is securely in place

Hey Li Yamamoto (aka new kid),
You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. However, how would you know your future is truly secure ? Things could go south anytime. You can't always be sure of everything.

Thanks for your comment. Do you also realise that realize is a z only in North America, everywhere else it's realise ?

If the benefits outweigh the risks then I would.

No. Certainly not. Unless I am willing to grab it and fall with it, I wouldn't mind. But for now, I think I would need a safety net.

I'm a more cautious kind of person. But if that would ever happen to me, I feel confident that I have a strong enough support system to be able to take the risk.
