I can't go as far as breaking laws or hurting other people. I am willing to work hard for money, but I can't do anything that goes against my conscience.

It depends on where to use the money. It's hard to tell what the limitation would be if lives of loved ones are at stake.

I would never break the law or hurt a human or individual. There are some limits. If I was starving, I would steal food. If I was without shelter, I would squat.
I thank heaven above I have always been able to provide for myself.

Unless a person has been in a situation where money was the only difference between living and dying, I don't think they know what they would do. I know I can't say for certain.

And to further it a bit, many people would rather die than do these things, but when it's not your life, but the lives of those you love at stake, it's often another matter entirely.

What is stealing a loaf of bread, to a mother with a starving child?
You've made such a very important point!
Our whole country Australia was settled by England sending ship loads of their starving bread thieves.
It's quite arrogant to say that you wouldn't go against morals when times are tough.

In all honesty, I would work hard especially if i truly needed the money. There would be no lying, cheating, or stealing in order to obtain what I truly want or need.
