Thats a tough choice for most people. It depends on the individual. Id try to find a smart choice between the two.

This perspective is something. Maybe you are guided by the principle that love conquers all.

I rather choose love than career because career will follow when love is genuine. Love is a broad topic but the most important of all. :D

I din't face this kind of question yet. If anytime I get to choose, I think career would be my 1st choice. Love after a successful career is more successful.

I agree. Career comes first when someone is younger and not yet ready of commitments but as someone grows older, he chooses the other one which is love.

I think it all depends on the situation. I would absolutely choose career over a relationship that may develop into love, but isn't there yet. On the other hand, I would definitely choose love when I know for sure it is love. I have been in both situations in the past, and did exactly that. No regrets!

Love over career. Easy for me. I had to do it about 10 years ago and don't regret it at all. I love my life now with the man I love and my family. I could have had more money and things but not what mattered. I think if I had chosen differently that I would always wonder and feel regret.

I still have to establish myself, so love is something I don't think is likely to happen for me. I can't afford to be sidetracked anyway.

You can earn all the money in the world, but it’ll never really give you the happiness that a happy smile or a warm hug from your lover can give you.

I would choose love (real and true love) over career. Abraham Maslow's heirarchy of human needs tells us the reason. Career is considered a "self-actualization" goal while "Love and to belong' is placed below it.
For me, if you are surrounded by people who loves you, you will become successful in every career you want and every goal you want to accomplish.

I dont think it is about choosing one or the other. Both are part you, so we have to compromise. Some people are content in living/exploring just one side of themselves and that´s ok, but I believe that if you really want to find meaning you have to be able to have a career (that suits your needs) and a love live.

After finishing University, my career was the most important thing in my life. Even after getting married I was focussed on my career. But after having my two beautiful children. They became more important to me than my career.

I'm 20 and i'm choosing career over love. In God's perfect time, i will love fully and deeply without any hesitation and without making a choice between the two that i will regret for the rest of my life. So i choose to avoid love as much as possible.
