If you want advice for improving your Review Score, or need help understanding your reviewer score, please copy and paste the full reviewer score when creating a topic for help here. We cannot tell you why your score went up or down unless you show us both the full previous score and full new score.

Other reviewers will browse the old topics by title to get help. For that reason, make sure to use very descriptive titles when making new topics. Do not use non-descriptive titles like "please help" because that makes the forum very hard to navigate both for those who want to help you and for those need help themselves.

The following things should absolutely not be posted in this forum.

This forum is not for debates or complaints. This is not a debate forum. This is not a complaint forum.

Complaints or disputes about editor scorecards should not be posted here. Those kind of disputes should be handled privately. It's almost always better to spend your time and effort using the editor comments constructively to improve your next review than to spend your time and effort trying to dispute an editor scorecard.

Do not post questions or topics unrelated to the Review Team. This is a private support forum for Review Team Members only, so making posts here that are unrelated to the Review Team would create duplicate topics here and in the public forums. If you have a question or suggestion unrelated to the Review Team, you must post it in the Public Suggestion Box instead.

Few quick questions

Post by Laughingsun » 15 Jul 2017, 10:22

hi there,

So as you can see I'm new to the site. I have a few questions.

1st: I've been posting here and there, probably still under 10 times, but my post count hasn't gone up from 4. If I reply to somebody who replied to my introduction post... does that still count only as 1 post or would it count as 2 posts? they're separated by a few replies so not one right after the other.

2nd: my bookshelf has the two books on it that I reviewed. is reviewing a book the only way to get it on my bookshelf?

3rd: I've submitted 2 reviews... one was 10 days ago. Are the editors behind? I read somewhere that it takes a week. Is this a 5 business days or 7 week days week? I'm anxious because I'd like to know if it was acceptable or not... so that I can gauge future reviews.

Thanks for your patience!
Andrea

Make sure to refresh your score. The info under your name says 12 posts.

The editors have a lot of reviews to go through. So just be patient. They will get to yours. It just takes time.

You can add books you've already read to the bookshelves as well. Just visit the bookshelves page.

Welcome!

1. posts in the off-topic sections (introductions, community, etc) don't count for a little while after joining.

2. You can add more books to your Shelf and the Bookshelves FAQ's explain how to.

3. The process usually takes about a week, sometimes more, so please give it a few more days and privately contact us if the status doesn't change by then. Please also read the instructions on your RT page for more info. :tiphat:

Thank you so much for answering :)

I was pretty sure I read the instructions on the RT page... will see lol.

Will check out the bookshelf FAQ... didn't see that there. I'm often reading the site on my little phone, so it's hard to see everything.

Will try to be patient ?
