so what is love if it's not romance, doesn't it become empty and mundane as companionship grow, if we get comfortable and stop trying, then what's the point from being there day and day out without making a difference or having an impact on our partner's life, shouldn't love deserve more dedication, than getting comfortable and lazy. such love seems undeserving if we don't give it our all. I'm not saying love is constant work but relationships are, loving is easy maintaining that love through the years takes all the work it can get.

I have not experienced much as I married my first boyfriend. But I believe that love does not fade but romance do. A different kind of love but still you value that person because he/she's been once part of your life and nobodu can change that.

Love never fades. Romance can easily fade because it serves no other purpose but satisfies one's emotions. Love goes beyond emotions and mistakes.

When we truly love, we do it unconditionally. Love has no conditions, it can never fade. Romance can fade away between two partners but love will keep them going with the hope that they will someday rekindle that existed between them.

I think it depends on who you fall in love with and time. If you end up loving someone who wasn't made for you I think over time that love will fade away but if you fall in love with someone you were truly meant to be with then I think your love will last.

Firstly how can love fade away... Base on your definition of love? Base on what the love you are talking about is build upon. I think that if any person can build his or her on God's word it can't fade

I am not sure that the actual love fades away. Yet, I do believe that the love does and will change over time. that change may be for the good or for the bad but change it will.

Love is not a piece of pie. To maintain it one needs trust, support, hardship and many more qualities. Love only fades away when one doesn't actually understand love.

Love does come and go. It's the responsibility of the people if they want to keep it alive, to take efforts in that direction. Yes, it definitely fades away if there are no efforts made.

Love dies. Sometimes love is even transferred. Falling is in love sometimes is very easy but mentaining it is not a walk in the park. Ive seen lovers turning into worse enemies. Sometimes people mistake love for infatuation. The later is far much different from love.
