Never been there, but it sounds magical.Lennycat wrote:I would love to go back to Jamaica once again. I would sit under the shade of the sea grape tree and listen to the music of the ocean waves. There are local men that walk up and down the beach and play songs on their battered instruments. If I could hear them play again, I would be joyful.

One of my favorites is the lighthouse on Alcatraz island. I would love to visit it.
Secondarily, I would love to visit many lighthouses, especially the ones that allow tourists to climb them.
There's just something about the history of lighthouses, mixed with the (usual) closeness to the ocean.
What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

Lighthouses are cool indeed! I would love to visit one that allows to climb it as well!Gravy wrote:I love lighthouses. Like, obsessively love lighthouses (actual, traditional lighthouses, not the skeletal frameworks that are so common in places like South America).

We're actually living in Italy for a few years now. The food is pretty delicious (not like American-Italian, though! So many things are different here!). It's difficult to say about their pizzas. They taste delicious, but the texture is soft in the middle. Most times, I like a pizza slice where I can hold it without flopping over, but like I said the flavor is delicious. So, for this, flavor trumps texture for me.gali wrote:I love Italian food as well, though I have heard their Pizza isn't that good.Amagine wrote:Another dream trip for me would be Italy. The reason is because I love c It would definitely be an amazing trip!
We've been to many parts of Italy (love the Alps!), Paris twice (wasn't very impressed :/ ), Nice, Amsterdam (loved!), Barcelona (loved!), and Malta (loved!). We have a few more places planned and we're excited!
I would love to go to Egypt, Morocco, and Australia. Oh, and for a sadder/reflective place, I would love to visit Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camps.
I believe we can make some of this happen while we are here, but not all. This was a great question!

The book is so amazingAmagine wrote:I've never been to either Disneyland or World. That would be a dream trip to me. Another one is that I want to go to Massachusetts to see Eric Carle's picture book museum and the new Dr. Seuss museum that's down there. I think it would be a wonderful and educational experience for me. Especially since I'm an aspiring children's book author.
