I agree it failed to convey the essence of the book. If it wasn't the BOTM, I wouldn't have read it based on the trailer.Ssinghal wrote:I think the summary written at the back of the book affects my decision to read the book more than the trailer. I felt the trailer could not really convey the essence of the book.

We are not used to. Besides, most of the time, we already have the synopsis or summary at the back page of the book.Izesicle wrote:I viewed the trailer on yt. I liked it. It's well-done and it provides a good tease of the plot. That said, I'm not used to watching book trailers so I'm typically not influenced by them.

I agree that a book trailer is an interesting concept. I want to see more book trailers.Amagine wrote:I think a book trailer is an interesting concept. It's a great way to advertise the book. Unfortunately, the trailer for My Trip to Adele didn't interest me much.

I wholeheartedly agree. This book trailer did not pique my interest and, like you said gali, if this book wasn't BOTM, then I would not have picked it up.gali wrote:I agree it failed to convey the essence of the book.
