A few summers ago I visited South Korea for two weeks. It was neat to see different temples, markets, and experience new foods.

Japan. The culture, the food and the beautiful landscape are all really incredible. Certainly one of my most favourite and memorable places I've ever travelled to.

My most memorable trip was to Colorado, specifically the Rocky Mountains, with my parents. We don't do as much backpacking now that they're older, but hiking in the snow was unforgettable. The wildlife in the valleys was amazing too!

Tokyo, Japan! I studied there as an exchange student for one year and got to experience Tokyo in all seasons. I loved autumn when everything looked beautifully sad. Spring was also quite magical.

My most memorable experience was when I was in London. I absolutely loved it there.

Frankford, Germany. I was visiting my brother and I just loved the small town they lived in. Every Thursday and Saturday morning an open air market was set up where flowers, bread, meats, cheeses, and fun trinkets were sold.

The most memorable place I've ever been to was Hogwarts    . Yes I went there thousands of times. Everytime I read or saw Harry Potter, I visited Hogwarts. Anyone for Butterbeer?

My 8th grade honor society trip to Washington D.C. Saw many neat and wonderful things but what I remember most was Arlington National Cemetery with all the rows of flags and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier watching the guards march and do the 21 gun salute.

Bahrain was the most memorable place I had ever visited with my family.

Wow, I would have to say Switzerland. It is clean and pure and modern and beautiful yet there are places that are hidden and enchanting as well. I think this is what Disney had in mind when they said ¨faraway land.¨ :)

Indonesia. From the modern metropolis of Jakarta to the jungles of Papua, it is a land rich in diversity and wealth, poverty and simplicity.

Probably Morocco. I trekked through the Atlas mountains and have never been as far away from civilization as I was then. I also visited some cities and the chapters about Marrakesh brought back the memories and spirit of Morocco.

I went to the island Mont Saint Michel in France. The atmosphere was so medieval. The most memorable part was that a big storm caught me and my family there. And you can't escape that place if it's flooded. Everyone was desperate, no umbrella helped. The buses were doubled and we jumped in one, but the engine stopped working on that one, so we had to wait for another. When we arrived, the storm was still there, and we found shelter someplace where people used hand dryers to dry their wet clothes.

I think the most wonderful place is the "Salar de Uyuni" in Bolivia, is where no one knows where the earth ends and the sky begins. A wonderful place.
