I like to think I have a creative imagination that can reach sci-fi levels. I really enjoyed this book and am excited to read the second one in the series to see what happens and what twists and turns the author offers.

I think reading any book requires some imagination, but there is definitely more involved in reading a science fiction or fantasy novel. I love using my imagination to build the world that the author originally created.

My favourite genre is fantasy and almost every subgenre of it. I dream really whacked dreams all the time, some of which I can't remember. The ones I do remember I write down and have been adding and subtracting from them over time. Some of them are really way out of the realm of explored topics while some still have common plots with vampires and werewolves and whatnot.

I think creating fantasy worlds entirely of your own imagining is a daunting task. I'm not sure I can take the leap from real to surreal, and I have much respect for those who can.
