My sentiments, exactly! Can I say my fave "classic" is Star Wars and my fave "modern" is the Matrix?...*sigh* Even that's only the tip of the iceberg, though, *lol!*

I used to teach The Hobbit, so I have a special place in my heart for Bilbo and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. When I taught this there would occasionally be a student whose parents objected to the book because of the magic, so we were required to have a second choice for those students. My alternate book choice was Fahrenheit 451.

The Wheel of Time series is my favorite. The author, Robert Jordan, never disappointed me with his imaginative settings and super-interesting characters. His plotting was great and the story's ending left me very satisfied.

My favourites would have to include Harry Potter and The Lords of the Ring. I'm currently reading Moth by Daniel Arenson, and it's slowly climbing its way to the top as an all time favourite as well. I

I am NOT, let me repeat NOT, the biggest fantasy lover. I don't avoid it like I avoid non-fiction, but I don't usually reach for it whenever I'm in a book reading mood. However, my favorite Fantasy Series (granted I've only read the first book in the series) is the Falling Kingdoms series by Morgan Rhodes. I don't know why I enjoyed the first book so much. The first book was the lowest rated book out of the six books. I think the moral of the story really sold it to me at the end. Also the use of politics and the complex characters and plot twists and deaths were so entertaining. I kept comparing and contrasting myself/life to this book several times. I guess it's what I'm competently looking for in books.

Ohh that is a toughy...they are all good in their own way. I personally loved I am number 4 series. The movie made the series so underrated. What I came to know is, this series was written by freelance writers, so as each book advances, you will find the book style advancing. It was very gripping to read and I read all 10 books.

can someone tell me what monster high and the matrix are about?
