Fantasy: The His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman is fantastic, just like the poster above said! And of course, Harry Potter will always be another favorite series.

Sci-Fi: Orson Scott Card's Ender series and the first book of the Bean series are amazing. It's just too bad that Orson Scott Card is a terrible human. And one sci-fi book I read recently that blew me away was The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. It's not exactly a series, but there is a sequel!

My favourite is Game of Thrones. I love the fact that gimmicks and schemes to take over the throne was on the high side.

I can't stop reading the Cassandra Clare Shadow Hunter novels. From The Mortal Instruments, Infernal Devices and now Dark Artifice. Also at the moment The Court of Thorns and Roses series is stuck in my head and won't let go.

Before these, however, I loved Belgariad series.

I used to love The X-Files! It was one of my favorite shows in high school!

My favorite fantasy series is probably Lord of the Rings (although The Chronicles of Narnia is a close second!). My favorite sci-fi is definitely Star Trek, no runner-ups there.
