I totally agree with you, Mercy Bolo. It's really not all about what life hands to us, but, what we have been able to do with what life delivers. I think Darwin, in this instance, handled the adversities of life appreciatively well.

I'm sorry, I disagree with the review. On the other hand I was overly harsh and came across as condescending. For that I apologise Mr. Coles :no-spoil:

To each his own; Coles is now one of my favorite authors. I thought Guardian of Deceit was a stellar novel.

A good review. In the game of survival, you often come across people with different characters. Nothing molds one better than experience.

This sounds like a very well written coming of age story. It seems that the author pulls the reader in with many questions anyone could ask about their own life. Thank you for the review. Very well written

That's a great read, the book shows that relationships don't just happen in a single day as most movies depict but that they are a long-term affair. Also the Author has shown some of the problems facing the society i.e. being brought up in poor condition. Thanks for the review

A coming-of-age story reveals a smart and strong-willed teen becoming a man in a new and unfamiliar environment. An exhilarating family tale when concentrating on the main characters, but the relationship fireworks and intrigue feel ordinary.
