I would say fear of heights and the possibility of falling. I don't like stand on a cliff edge on the edge of a building.

Snakes, snakes, snakes. That's always been my number one fear. Really, it's more of a phobia. I can't handle seeing a picture of one, check to make sure there isn't one in my toilet before I sit down and have to turn off images on my browser if I ever have to google something about them.

I was also scared of little children acting creepy in horror movies (still gets me) and clowns. Both of those things still freak me out.

Spiders and total complete darkness.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

When I was a child I used to be afraid of dolls, teddy bears and any animals with furr. Now I'm not really afraid of those things but I abhor mosquitoes, rats and just anything creepy-crawly.

Aliens. Because my older brother liked scaring me when I was little, so he made up these realistic stories that at night aliens would come to our house and there would be a light emitting crack in the bedroom wall and alien hand would come out and so on. And at the time the papers wrote some speculation stories about aliens, so I believed it all because after all even the papers wrote about it. :)

I was and still am scared of spiders - it's in control enough to not mind seeing them on TV and to cope with a little one in the same room, but I still would have the screaming ab-dabs if a big fat hairy one actually made physical contact. A slightly stranger one is fungi - when I learnt there could be things growing in the garden or a field that could kill me it freaked me out. To this day I only eat mushrooms pre-packed from a recognised source!

@Jumpman23_ I was okay about most veg when I was a kid, but to this day I am still firmly convinced that spinach is the Devil's Crop!

I have always had a fear/ issue with making sure my feet don't go over the edge of the bed uncovered. I still somehow think something can grab me. I had a nightmare the other night that someone grabbed my foot and woke up with a scream.

Cockroaches and snakes. I just can't bear these two. I also have a fear of darkness, but only when I'm alone.

As a child my greatest fear would be height and big water.
