as child growing up, I used to enjoy the book ''my book of bible stories'' the book helped me understand the bible from a child points of view through use of colorful pictures, simple English as well as a summary of lessons learned from each bible story. The lessons carried lessons on respect for parents as well as those who are older than me. It also taught me about honesty, courage (i learned this from the story of David and Goliath) as well as humility.

I think a variety of lessons are communicated through children's books, and there is something different to be learnt from each. Ultimately, it boils down to helping us become better persons, and differentiate between good and evil, right and wrong.

When I was younger, books were my main friends. So I definitely learned how to get along with other people, how to be an evil wizard, how much I wanted to explore the world, and other very important things.

Children's books can actually be very intelligent and deep, in spite of their simplicity. For example, Harry Potter is rife with religious and historical allusions. The Lorax teaches a lesson that many adults never learn. Charlotte's Web tells a tale about life and death and happiness in between. All of these great books taught me to listen to every voice, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, because there is worth to every point of view.

There is no one children's book that taught me a lesson. All the children's books I have read have impacted my life and made me view the world in a different light.

The lessons that I've learned from children's book is that we should be honest at all times. We should share our blessings to other people. We should love our other people. We should answer the elders in a good way.

during my school-going days I used to like a book called 'hallo children' because it taught me lessons on how to help our neighbors when they are in problems

I've learned many things from children's books but the most profound is perhaps that when life gets hard, only softness survives.

The most important lesson for me is to learn to accommodate people and be at peace with them and to also accept new things in life.

One of all the many things have learned in a children book is to be kind, open minded and forgiven those who have offended you.
