Though I've never met one, I tend to have an irrational fear of clowns. Can't explain why despite being mailed by a leopard as a kid I still don't fear them but a clown sets me off

Time. It passes so quickly that it's scary. We spend our lives inside four walls, commonly an office and a house instead of going out in the world and exploring it while we have a chance. Days, months, years pass by so quickly and you just can't go back.

My greatest fear is to wake up one day and realize I'm dead yet I haven't accomplished all that I wanted while alive.

apart from snakes, i'd say my greatest fear is realising when its too late that i made the wrong decisions in life, both career wise and in relationships. Becoming a failure is never an option

My greatest fear will be what will really happen if my life ends...get this, death does not scare me..,what happens after the lights go out? what will happen if your last breath finally passes away?..How do miracles happen and who causes them to happen...?

My greatest fear is dying while my children are still young and can not fend for themselves.

While I'm afraid of not feeling fulfilled in life, my greatest fear is ending up alone, no friends, no family. I love spending time by myself but the thought of having no human contact at all terrifies me. It's even worse if you add the possibility of no pets, complete isolation.
The more that you read,
The more things you will know.
The more that you learn,
The more places you'll go.

Same here, i used to fear losing a loved one but once that fear manifested i realised i am bigger and stronger than it even though it seems impossible to overcome it. I guess the same applies to this situation, it will persist until you learn something and conquer it.

I guess my greatest fear would be to be crippled and to have to rely on other people for all my physical needs.

I believe I have none at the moment. But I had one - not living my life, just existing. I don't fear of dying, I fear of not living. But I guess I overcame my phobia :)

Oh yes, clowns! I dunno why, but I am scared to death when I see one! I know how you feel.
