My greatest fear is to annoy the people who seem too important to me especially my mother.

Fears can range from things like phobias to elements in a dream, but I think the non-tangible fears like not leaving a legacy in your lifetime or having no one miss you when you are gone really give you pause for thought. In saying that, watching movies about possession scare the daylights out of me! And if I'm being honest, being in an accident where I lose my senses like sight or hearing and having to rely on someone to take care of me. I'm not big on change so that would be terrifying. Or being burnt to death (oh my gosh I'm being morbid today!).
I could totally relate to you! these are also what I thought of after reading the question. Haha

I'm afraid of reptiles when we're talking about phobias. I also loathe closed spaces.
For non-tangible fears, I'm afraid to be too dependent to people up to the point of burdening them. I also fear to not leave an impact to anybody when i die.

burnt to death and buried alive are too scary haha

My greatest fear is that one of my children of my husband will die. That would be so devastating to me as I did not have much of a family life growing up.

I think my greatest fear is failure. I spend more time not doing what I want because of fear I will fail.

My greatest fear would be for me to lose someone I love. I have very few people that I truely care about, I've always gone for quality over quantity. If anything were to happen to any of them, I'm not sure that I would recover. A lot of people on this thread say that their greatest fear is to live their life without meaning. The meaning of my life comes from the people I love. So even if I don't "do" anything my entire life, it still had meaning because I felt the full emotion of love. Great question! Great read on the replies.

I fear a death without dignity. Dying on the roadside because I cannot afford a home or in violence because someone wants my possessions and are not prepared to exert the effort to create their own possession. I belief that a good death will forward a good life.

I am so afraid of the dark! I practically sleep with my lights on and I yell my lungs off if it practically goes off with no other light in sight.

Oh and did I add that I'm so scared of snakes and anything else that crawls? Yikes!!!
Most times, I fall flat on my face. But never do I remain on the floor; I rise again.

I think my biggest fear is going throughout life without ever making a difference. I would like to know that I had some sort of positive impact on somebody's life.
