I read children's books to reminisce and also to share the experience with my nephew and niece.

I am attracted to children's books. Often times, I buy books for children because I am interested in reading them.

I regularly re-read CS Lewis's Narnia series. Does that count? I always browse the Young Adults shelf. Often their books are more imaginative and way-out. Diana Wynne Jones is always a favourite - and I re-read Heidi the other day!

Oftentimes, when I visit libraries and bookshops I am drawn to the children's section. Of course, I still read and enjoy books which are generally categorized as children's books.

I do. Sometimes because I want something light and refreshing though brief. I also read children's books because they actually have more lessons than adults books. I think I could use a little reminder of basic, important and positive human morals.

Reading children books is a sure way to relax your mind. When I am in stress and want to just stop thinking(worrying) I pick up one of my childhood books.

Hey cool, I see the third Magnus Chase book is coming out. My daughter's librarian sent me the first Percy Jackson book by Rick Riordan and I've been sold ever since. The Magnus Chase series is about the Norse gods, who are REALLY confusing. I'm also loving the new Apollo series about the Greek gods. I think these are rated 12 up, but who cares. It's great adventure, good writing and really imaginative.

I got away from it for a while, but since starting my new teaching job I've found myself drawn to this genre again. Sometimes the truths in children's and YA books are so poignant.

I have a 12 year old daughter and when she is assigned a book for school I take the time to read the book. Next month she will begin to read The Outsiders. I am excited because I remember reading that in middle school.

I tutor young kids so that's almost an everyday thing for me. Sometimes I read them to past the time, or just to see if I can find a hidden life lesson to share. I don't go out of my way to purchase these books but they're ideal for when I'm formulating lesson plans. It helps me to structure them in a way that's appropriate for whichever age group I'm tutoring.

I read more YA, but when I feel down, I go back to my very battered copy of Roald Dahl's Matilda. There's something so fun and comforting about it.

I honestly read children books all the time. After reading those heavy mental provoking books it's nice to just relax with something that easy , amazing and funny. One of my all time favourites is the skulduggery pleasant book series, it gets me every time :D
