What is your place of comfort?

Post by Amagine »

Farmer Beau's farm becomes a special place that anyone can go to and feel loved and accepted.

Do you have a special place that brings you comfort?

My comfort place would be my basement library. Whenever I'm feeling the most drained or sad, that room is my go-to place. I feel the safest when I'm in it.

My comfort place would be my home and especially my bedroom.

I agree. Home, and my room are my places of comfort. These are the places I can read a great book, watch a movie in peace, or just retreat into the world inside my own head!

I like my exercising room because that's where all of my books are stored. I just like being around them, it gives me comfort. another room of comfort is my art studio where I draw and paint. If it's raining outside, then just about any room can be my comfort room because the rain just gives me such a relaxed feeling.

Nice question! Yes, home is my comfort place, too. For a specific comfort area when I'm tired or emotional, most times, it's either our bedroom or our office space (it has a comfy giant couch-bed).

Aside from my apartment, my place of comfort was a small, local bar that I used to live near. I knew all the bartenders and most of the patrons, and I used to go in just to talk and socialize. Unfortunately, I moved away from that place a few months ago, and I haven't quite found a new place of comfort. I'm sure I will find one soon!

If I'm at home, my favorite places to be are my reading chair, my bed, or my office. If I'm not at home, I love being at the local library.

There's nothing I love more than coming home and crawling into bed. I love spending time there reading, snuggling with my cat, or just playing around on the internet. It always feels so peaceful.

One of my favourite places of comfort is the green rocking chair in my youngest daughter's bedroom. We bought it when oldest daughter was on the way and now even youngest daughter doesn't need it much anymore but I like to take my tea and sit and rock and remember when they were both babies in my arms.
peace starts with a smile...

My main place of comfort is probably very similar to others, as it's my own home. I would also say my in-laws, which is somewhere I spend a lot of time. We camp fairly often as well, which is super relaxing and allows me plenty of time to read, which of course is a place of comfort!

Mine too. It's where I can be myself and not have to worry about anything.

My best friends house, hands down. No matter what I know that I can show up at any time and she will roll with it.

"Hey. There's some leftover tacos if you're hungry. Have you caught up on RuPaul's Drag Race yet? We can watch an episode if you want." - an actual conversation we have had recently when I walked in and sat down on her couch with no warning.
