I always try and ask what they would need or want. It varies based on who I invite and have over.

Listening to people could make them feel accepted, don't look at your watch?, even if you are in a hurry, try to remain calm. Adequately prepare if there is room, be honest and friendly. Always seek out what isbest for others and it will make your atmosphere have a glowing warmth even without speaking a word?. I think that'll work most times. You may be a 100% prepared but atmospheres are sensed with the 'sixth sense', people just know... So fill your life with the love that God has for you and your atmosphere will be full of welcoming love.

In my culture one of the ways to make someone feel welcome is to offer them a cup of tea

A smile is a great way to make people feel comfortable. I ask them about themselves, which is a great ice breaker, and speak to them about anything that they're interesting in. And I make sure not to go on a monologue...

I create a welcoming atmosphere by being polite. If I was in a strange place I'd feel more at ease if someone was friendly and kind to me, so that's how I treat others.

It’s usually the same thing I just make them feel comfortable and relaxed so they can be at peace.
