After finishing the book, it would be entertaining to see this as a movie. The book is fast pace and action filled. A movie would have no problems portraying those elements.
Although, this is not one I would watch. It's not because it couldn't be a good movie but that I don't enjoy watching horror ones. Reading and watching aren't the same things to me and I know I can't handle seeing horror.

I think it would be ok as a movie, I am interested on who is going to be in the cast if it does go that route. I mostly see it as a t.v series though.

It would be a good idea to make the book into a movie. I thought that the prologue would
make an unique movie trailer, and I think the book should be made into a movie.

It would definitely be thrilling, but I'm not ready for the gore. I wouldn't be able to watch it if all the violence is portrayed on the big screen.

Oh, yes! It's funny that this was mentioned because I just mentioned that in my review of this book. Not only is it action packed but it has everything that would make an excellent movie and nothing needs to be changed. It was an excellently written book and this author has so much potential!

Books must be made into movies only if they don't lose the essence of the story.

I definitely think that this book could be made into a movie. I felt that the author wrote in such a way that I could see the storyline cinematically in my mind's eye. There was plenty of action and suspense and I bet it would do well with a movie audience.

Exactly! Many times I don't enjoy the movies after I read the book because a lot of the important stuff would have been cut out.

I think this would make a good movie. It's fast-paced, full of action, and creepy enough to capture fans of this genre.

It should be a movie only if directors and producers who honestly care about the story being genuinely translated to the screen. It worries me especially since the main characters (Haatim and Abigail) are not white at all, and stories like that tend to be changed in favor of Hollywood prejudice often. If a good director and producer who came along respects all that, I'd gladly like to see it be made into a movie!

You have a very good point. We have already seen how movies came out different from the novels they were adapted from. I do hope that if this will be made into a movie, they will stick to the very core of the story and its characters.

I think Raven's Peak would make an excellent action movie.
