Hi, I just finished reading the book. This question immediately caught my eye, and my first thought was, " I would definitely have gone with Abigail and figure out exactly what is going on ".But then I realized, if I were really in Haatim's place, I'd be too scared to even think, and all thoughts I'd be having would about all the different ways I could die.

If I was my younger self, without kids, I would have possibly go with it because I like adventure. My adult self possibly would not go after demons because I have kids to take care of. We are talking about demon-slaying here, which is interesting in paper. But if we were talking about a Harry Potter kind of world, I would take the kids with me.

Well, if I were in Haatim's place, but had my personality, I would run with Abigail to learn as much as I could, however, if I had Haatim's personality, I would probably crawl into the deepest hole I could find and pray I never had to come out. He seemed pretty wimpy, at least until the end.

I would have run the opposite direction as fast as my short legs would take me and stop for no one.

I would stick with Abigail. She is the only person who can provide answers since mist people don't even know the demons exist. Staying behind would have driven ne crazy. But as for going back for her at the end...I do not think I would have done that. I'd like to think I understand self preservation a bit more than that lol

I liked how he kept blacking out from the shock of it all, hahaha! I doubt I'd have survived seeing the first dead guy. Sometimes you just have to die to live in peace. (I know, makes no sense whatsoever). Were it not for the fact that Abigail kept saving her, I would not have followed her around. But on second thought, his father was part of the Council, so I guess his reality was going to be messed up either way.

I would definitely go and ask Abigail to train me on how to fight them, but I would be more cautious in general.

I think Haatim was very brave to follow Abigail to Ravens Peak. If it was me I would have run fast in the other direction. Or move into a nearest church.

I think I would have gone because I'll have regretted not helping for the rest of my life.

I would go with Abigail. After what Haatim experienced, I would stay with someone who could protect me.

Even if I encounter similar situation on real world I'd do what Haatim did. For two reasons. First, I won't ditch someone who backed me during my worse. Second, I too jump into problems when my friends face them. I have even been to VC's office because I backed my friend when she did a mistake  .And trust me, no demon can be more horrible than my VC

I would not get myself sucked into a situation like that. I would have distanced myself from Abigail, but I think Haatim was in a darker, needier place.

Given his circumstances, he was told they were not coming after him, but he was afraid to go back to his apartment. I would have gone with her.

I would have found a reason first chance that i could get to get the hell out of that situation. But maybe that's one of the significant reasons that I like characters like Haatim.
