It does make me think of Poe too.
I agree. I also thought of The Raven. The picture looks quite ominous.

I love the book cover! It instantly tells you what genre it will be. It's chilling, and yet it has this air of curiosity.

Just looking at the raven and the dark cover gave me the chills and reminded me of how ravens are being associated with demons, evil spirits, war and death in mythologies and religions. The cover instantly tells you that you're about to enter a world of darkness and horror. There wouldn't have been a better cover.

Did you guys see the covers for his other two books? Did you like those as well? I liked the book cover of the third one better than I did the second.

I like the third one as well. I wish they meshed a little bit better (the second and third ones do, but the first sticks out more) but they are still all really nice.

The third book is a LOT longer than the first two, which I like as well!

I feel like the cover was one of the main reasons I decided to read it. It just looks so cool, and it really does represent the book really well. Plus, I love ravens and anything that reminds me of Poe.

I liked the third cover better than the second, as well. I kind of wish the picture and the title were more balanced than having the title be the focus, like the first one.

I agree. Every thing about the book has to correlate and be balanced out with each other.

Yeah, the actual image is really cool but the title sort of distorts it.

The book cover is great! Many book buyers only take a look at the book cover before deciding whether to buy the book or not.

I agree! I immediately thought of Edgar Allan Poe. But to be fair I think anytime I see a raven, it makes me think of his work. Nonetheless, I really like the cover and the creepy feeling it gives.

I love the simplicity of the cover as it offers you exactly what it is. The colours are haunting and you immediately start asking questions about the content
