Home, security, family, friends - the things that make me feel safe, I suppose

I would miss family and friends foremost. Secondly, I would miss how small the world seems now with internet and air travel. I would miss being able to walk into a grocery store and having so many options. I would miss eating at a restaurant. I would miss coffee. I would miss walking into a library or logging onto my computer and having a wealth of information available to me.

Many have already said this, but I would miss the people I love (including my dog), modern-day conveniences, definitely hot showers, and a place to call home. I love to travel, but one of my favorite feelings is go back home at the end of a vacation.

I'm sure there are so many things I would miss, but I bet it would be the things I don't even think about now. I think it would surprise all of us what we actually miss.

I would miss my family. I'm a family oriented person and I don't do well when I am separated from them for too long. I would also miss my room lol. I have it decorated to my specifications. I would hate to never see it again.

I will miss the people I love. The people whom I can tell stories with for as long as we want. Most of all, I will miss the challenges I face each day.

If I did have them, I would absolutely miss my family. Yes, amenities are nice and easy access to food is definitely wonderful, but if I did have my family I d think I'd care as much about the rest of those things.

It is hard to narrow the list of things that I would miss. I would be living a whole new life. I would miss so much about the past before everything changed.

I would miss sleeping in a real bed with blankets. Warm showers. Parmesan cheese. Pizza. toilets and toilet paper. shampoo/conditioner. going to a grocery store instead of hunting and scavenging. I'd miss my happy pills LOL! Christmas lights and festivities. I would NOT miss computers, internet, etc.

I think apart from people who matter to us (it's obvious we'll miss our family and friends), I would miss the familiarity with my life the most. We get so used to a pattern of life, that living in a totally different atmosphere is frightening. It's a feeling I'll definitely miss.

Technology has really opened up the door for communication, without it the globe was a much larger place. It would be harder to keep in touch with loved ones from far away without phones and we wouldn't have as instant access to global news. I think the global connection and communication is what I would miss.

I would miss my kids and husband. The only material thing I would miss would be my medication and pictures.
