I did finish the book, but it was a struggle, because of the large amounts of things going on. I also felt like the character couldn't lose. I mean, he eventually would have some troubles, but somehow, he always came out smelling like a hero. It took me a very long time to read this book, and I am a very quick reader normally.

I feel the same here. But I'm still reading it.

Mild spoiler ahead
I did! Initially the pace was slower but once he entered the other world it started getting interesting. It really picked up pace when he left the court of the Baron and by the end, I was so gripped that I HATED IT when the book ended!

Yes, it was a tedious read, but it was worth it. Yes, it has many things in it, and that makes it unique. What I'm trying to say is that we all have different tastes and perspectives on certain things or books for that matter.

I was able to finish it but it was very much a struggle to do so. I usually can read long books like this one, but the fact that I disliked it considerably was what made it so long and tedious. I had to force myself to finish it since I was already too far along to put it down. I didn't want all that time to be wasted.

I finished it but the book looked longer than I imagined though it wasn't boring at all.

It is a tedious read that it took a week plus to read. As interesting as it is, I find it boring at some point.

I just had to motivate my self to finish this book. The story went on so slowly and some conversation and scenes were very unnecessary. Honestly the author should have done better. Giving readers a simple short and satisfying story is more important than a complex book with so many pages.

Yes I actually finished the book awhile back and my experience with it was extraordinary and fun because I have always like vampire stories.
