Wow, that's so great! It's always nice to meet an author and even better to find out that he is a wonderful, generous person. I wish I still lived in Connecticut (I lived about 35 minutes northwest of Manchester from 1999-2003); it would have been fun to be part of your book club. :)

So cool! I love it when authors are as cool as their books are.

I've always wanted to meet an author. I'd ask about how they got their ideas.

Scott wrote:I saw Garon again last night. I saw him buy a whole hot meal for a homeless man in my town, Manchester. That generously doubly cool to me since Garon doesn't even live here.

I almost missed it because Garon was pretty quiet about it.

He's truly an incredible man, and he deserves all the success his book is earning.
That's so cool that you got to meet him! It sounds like he is a good man.

Wow it is always a nice experience to meet authors in person. I look forward to some day meet my favourite author in person
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

After reading Nightlord I just knew the author had a sense humour. Good on you! Will look for the YouTube interview.
