I would not like to be a vampire because I enjoy my human existence very much!

There are both reasons as to why I'd want to be a vampire, but also why I wouldn't want to, because of the pros and cons for both sides.

Immortality
Pro: You can't die because of old age or poor health issues like normal humans.
Con: You can still die because of other attacks as in a stake to the heart or burning of your body.

Source Of Energy
Pro: You won't have to worry about if there's enough food for you since all you drink is blood. (Saving money all year!)
Con: There is a limited supply in most cases. You don't want to draw too much attention in one area.

Flawless Skin
Pro: You are the literal definition of perfect complexion, blemish free no matter what.
Con: No sunlight.

Strength & Stealth
Pro: You are faster than any human enemy can be and you can defend yourself against pretty much anything, within reason.
Con: With great strength, comes great consequences.

Living Different Lives
Pro: You can be whoever you want, wherever you want, whenever you want.
Con: You have to keep moving to different areas to not rise suspicion.

Abilities
Pro: There are so many different powers that come with being a mythical being like a vampire, that, of course, who wouldn't want them!
Con: You only as strong as your energy source and without enough blood in your system, you're powerless.

There's so many different ones that I can come up with, in my personal opinion, but others' may vary.
In the end, despite the bad, I'd be one.

Depends which kind of vampire we are talking about. There are so many different options out there, I'd have to give it some serious thought.

No, it would be just crazy. It would be different if I could be a part of something, vampire wars and etc. Because to live as a vampire among humans would be meaningless if all you do is hurt others and stress over your animal instincts, not to mention living forever seeing others die and mankind degrading.

Depends on the vampire, the mythos seems to change with every new universe they pop up in. In general, I'd have to say yes, though. Wouldn't mind my life being a little bit less fragile.

No, for the simple fact that I would not want to be 'immortal'. I've read books with characters who have 'immortal status', if you will, and it was so evident that they could not enjoy the fullness of their life, knowing that those surrounding them would eventually die, while they lived on.... and on.... and on.....
So, no, I wouldn't want to be a vampire!

If vampires truly do live forever, I would not want to be a vampire. I feel like living forever would be exhausting and would eventually get boring. At some point, you would reach the end of your bucket list and not know what to continue doing with all your time.

I wouldn't want to be a vampire because they kill to survive. Well we do too I guess with meat, but it's unnecessary to our survival. Not only isee the food source a problem, you have to worry about turning into a human guinea pig! I don't know about you, but I don't want some strange person stabbing me with needles constantly.

No, there is many books about fairytale vampires or folklores on vampires. In every one that I have read they are immortal. I wouldn't want to outlive so many family and friends. I want to age, I want to love without feeling the guilt knowing that my SO is aging everyday and I'm not aging a day from the moment I was bit. The strength, the sucking of blood, sunlight and other things that come with being a vampire, I'm not interested.

Not really although the idea of living forever does have some appeal. What does not have any appeal is the act of hunting prey and drinking blood although in these days, maybe one could use a blood bank!

While it sounds so appealing. I'd have to say I wouldn't want to be one. To much bad crap comes with it. I wouldn't want to watch everything I know die while I still lived. I feel like it would be heartbreaking.

No. I already have immortality in that I am a saved Christian, and that is enough for me! But, it's fun to think about.

Becoming a vampire is becoming immortal. In that case, I don't like the idea of becoming one. I want to remain mortal because it leads me to think that I must make the most out of it and being mortal obliges me to reflect before doing things and think several times before uttering words.
