Although it wouldn't happen in the same way, if I woke up a vampire, I would panic first. After all any change in your way of life is frightening. Then I too, would be the book need vampire and learn everything thing I could about my condition. I would definitely keep my feeding to the assisted suicide or use my "soul reading" to find murderers. I would try to stay under the radar and maintain my current life as much as possible . I guess I would eventually need aging disguise or a move and new identity to deal with the nonaging issue.
"Oh honestly, don't you two read?"

If I woke up a vampire the next day I would probably freak out and panic. Only because it would be something new that I wouldn't know how to handle.

How many times have you read a vampire story or watched a movie and a character just has to open the spooky door and you're saying to yourself, 'Don't go in there!' By the nature of vampires on the written page, there is absolutely no reason to party if you wake up the beast. Just close the lid, drive a wooden stake all the way through it and run!

Me, I would probably panic then that would be followed by a massive party.
I would panic because I mean, my life. Every thing going down hill. Everybody has a different take on the life, or afterlife, of a vampire so there isn't much information on what actually happens. I like to have control over my life, call me a control freak, so having all of the questions that would come with waking up as a vampire would not sit well with me.
Can we go in the sun?
What are alcohols affects?
Are there issues with control?
I would rather not vamp out on a person who is just asking a question.
Not to mention my future, I mean it has to be pretty impossible to be a ER doc. with a thirst for blood.

Then would come the massive party because well I am a vampire. There has to be some good things to go with all the crazy unknowns.

Oh this is a good one! I would party. In the fantasy world, anyway. If it were reality, I would probably panic that I was actually turned to the dark side.

I will try to understand my present state of mind,if I am conscious and sensitive to all that is taking place around me.
When I have answered this question, then will maximize my power as a vampire. :)

Since I love reading books about vampires or watching a lot of vampire shows I would probably party at first. Like most stories you would be faster, stronger, never age. I'm usually a night owl anyway. The only part I wouldn't like about it is never being able to put in the sun again so it would get lonely after a while and also the never ending hunger for blood.

It would be awesome to be a vampire exept I wouldn't want to tell anyone what monster I've become id lock myself up when I start craving for blood as to not hurt anyone that doesnt deserve it.

I honestly have no idea how I would react. It's funny because the other day I was talking to a friend and I told her that blood tastes disgusting. I then proceeded to say "I don't know how vampires do it." I think I would be scared and happy at the same time. I would happy that I get to be immortal and I have all of these new abilities. But I would also be scared because unless I can turn all the people I love into a vampire too I would have to live and watch them all die. I think that is the only thing that I would not be too excited about.
