Absolutely. I love a good fantasy, especially those centered around fairy tales or folklore. I was so excited to see this as the book of the month!

I dont know that I have ever read legends or myths as a book. This is very close to my favorite genre which is fantasy. Simliar to what some others have said, I think they are close enough that it is not really a stretch, but it is interesting to see the variations!

Fantasy isn't usually a draw for me either, but like others have mentioned, it's good to break out of one's comfort zone every once in a while and try something new. I know for me, I'm usually glad I did!

I think that this piece seems to almost straddle genres. It doesn't seem super clear cut to me. It is an unusual read, to be sure. But that is rarely a bad thing!

My 'typical' 'genre' is non-fiction :-P. I love fast-moving stories of
the likes of Sidney Sheldon. So, this book does not excite me,
but somehow I want to read it and complete it!

I am well rounded person, but I mainly like Sci-fi, fantasy, poetry, and historical. But I do pick up time travel a lot more lately than I had in my life.

I have to admit, I'm not usually a big fantasy person. I like ore realistic books, specifically mystery. Something about this book was very different, though, and I got through the whole thing in a day!

I love fantasy, and the more that gets written about myths and legends, the more "new information" comes to light and the more we learn about different cultural beliefs.

Is like having a "type" book-wise? Yes, perhaps. But even if it turns out to be something that isn't necessarily my "type," as long as it's written well, I would be glad to give it a try.
