What if Cancer and AIDS already had a cure? How would you feel knowing the cure was being withheld from those in desperate need of treatment to reverse their afflictions and possibly prolong their lives? That these natural remedies are being deliberately concealed is just part of the thesis in Sylvie Beljanski's Winning The War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards A Natural Cure. Her Non-Fiction book is part memoir and part discussion of the state of our world that has created the need for sharing these recollections. Sylvie's parents, Mirko Beljanski, PhD and his wife, Monique, dedicated their lives to researching natural botanical extracts and through a series of clinical trials and treatments, proving that their Pao periera product helped to reverse the effects of many chronic diseases including various cancers, AIDS and even infertility. But eventually their work was halted because of what Sylvie describes as bureaucratic collusion between the French government and pharmaceutical companies, and the fear that ailing patients would choose Beljankski's natural treatments instead of their expensive medicines that often failed to deliver equal results.
Winning the War On Cancer details Sylvie's efforts to recover the legacy stolen from her family and publicize the treatment to help a new generation access the natural extracts to heal infirmities. While the book contains many details that would satisfy scientifically curious readers, it is the personal stories that unfold within its pages that capture and hold your attention. The miraculous recovery of many of the sick described, helps kindle hope for those who might be reeling from a diagnosis themselves and for those who help them.The book is well organized and formatted to deliver a strong, clear message and function as the scaffold for the vast array of medical contributors whose testimonies help endorse what Sylvie records. Winning the War On Cancer is gripping and powerful, educational stimulating but also emotionally appealing as we lose ourselves in the hero and heroine championing on our behalf. It is well worth the read and I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
