Title: - A Roadmap to career Success.
Author:-John .J Bendt

We all want a balanced life with each aspect in perfect harmony. Still What if I ask you, what’s your most important aspect of your life? Majority of you would answer as 'career'.
Author John .J Bendt, wrote his concise non-fiction work titled 'A Roadmap to Career Success'. This work acts as a light house, providing navigation aid to directionless ships i.e. people in quest of career choice and guidance at multiple stages of life. This book appeals the most to students initiating careers, and working professionals seeking growth and agility in their respective careers. He divides 25 tips in 8 chapters with an ultimate finesse and clarity.
Initiating with exploring occupations suiting individual’s talents and organization's requirements to sharpening hard and soft skills, are the main agenda of this work. His work is indeed a great contributory factor to figure out the most important aspect i.e. career of one’s life.
Apart from that, selecting the occupation, marketing yourself and finding the job opportunities, deal with all facts of real life career and author gives them an expert touch to tackle them tactfully.
After the ‘what’s’ being answered, author exceptionally describes the ‘how’ part i.e. how to develop those skill set for your job. His work is what we all can relate to as we somehow felt the need of such a consolidated text to help us cross the career paths of our lives in smooth and effective way.
‘Bundle Skills to Create Advantage’ is a tip to specially watch for , which would definitely break the myth of many people that only hard skills/ technical knowledge is sufficient for success in career. Author also describes personal and online networking as a key important aspect to be aware of the various developments in our career fields as well as self-improvisation of ourselves in the respective way. A fine diagrammatic representation of factors affecting the career advancement is mentioned, which can come handy to any of the person seeking career growth and its advancement.
The best part I like about this book is crystal clarity, point wise representation and various evaluation tables for job offers and opportunities. The part I wish to be added more is in depth explanation of certain tips.
I would rate this book 3 out of 4, positive points being the simple and concise language. I would recommend this book to all individuals who wish to find, excel and advance in their respective careers in their various stages of life.
