Adam is the first human being created by God according to the Bible. After animals, grasslands, oceans and seas, God created Adam from dust. Living in the garden of Eden, he had the privilege to name almost everything created by God. Unfortunately, he could not enjoy the marvels of Eden because he was feeling lonely. God created Eve from Adam’s rib and the two innocent creatures had the amazing grace to experience a profound relationship with their creator. After eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve were thrown out of Eden and experienced relational and spiritual death.

Who Told You That You Are Naked? is a captivating book in which every reader will find answers to some questions pertaining to the story of creation. Inspired by his own preach, author William E. Combs has written a deep reexamination of the facts surrounding the fall of man and the perception of sin. This book holds an important message not only for born again Christians but also for people just beginning their Christian life, and for those in need of a better understanding of the Bible.

From chapter one to ten, each fact is argued in the light of the Bible. The study questions help to embetter the reader’s understanding and open up his mind to discussion. The language used, as well as the way this book is worded, makes it appropriate for all type of readers. It is a quick and fun read, and should easily hold the attention of anyone in search of a deeper relationship with God.

Change the perception of sin is important for everyone who would like to experience a closer relationship with the One above: hearing His voice, feeling His peace. Therefore, I think that both Christians and non-Christians should benefit from this book. I think the book could easily fit into church meetings, or simply employed as a discussion book. I highly recommend Christian preachers and religious leaders in general to look into sharing this book with their congregations.

I rate the amazing book, Who Told You That You Are Naked?, 4 out of 4 stars. I really appreciate the way William E. Combs analyzes the story of Eden and its impact on the relationship between God and men. Chapter after chapter, he keeps on exposing his own perception of sin while preaching vividly the wonderful message of gospel not only to born again Christians but to mankind in all its diversity. This book is then a great way to open a discussion about the place of gospel in the world today. I, personally, plan to read this book with my family.
