Thanks for your review! I read the description of the book and if fascinated me because I enjoy too much a vampire book, the fact that you said it has too much gore and you were glad the book wasn't longer, stopped me from picking up this book to read. I really enjoy mystery but not violence. Thanks again for the information :)

Horror stories are not my usual cup of tea. I am sure that the lovers of this particular genre will find the book enjoyable.

I've tried a few horror novels but they just aren't for me. This one seems like a good one though.

Horror's not my genre but vampires intrigue me sometimes. I would want to add this book to my want to read shelf.

This is a well-written review that bring out the essence of these short stories. Those who like gore and dark themes in their reading should definitely put this in their to read list.

I am so glad for the review of It's hard to be a vampire. A horror book filled with gore that may be offensive for religious persons is not the kind of book for me. Congrats on BOTD.

This is probably the best review of a short story anthology I've read so far. I enjoy reading short stories but I am neither a fan of vampires nor ghosts. The gore and overtly sexual references would probably turn me off. I have to pass on this one. Thank you for the superb review! :D

I don't usually read supernatural themed books. A collection of short stories sounds interesting as it can be nice to get to the end of a story before you go to bed at night! Thanks for the great review!

Sonya thank you for your honest review of It's Hard to Be a Vampire. I read the free sample and was undecided on this book, short stories are not really a favorite of mine. Your clear warnings on who this book would or would not appeal to has made my decision for me. Over the top gore is not for me. Thank you for a great review.

I love the macabre, and these stories sound right up my alley, especially since I'm a big Poe fan. The story about the artist sounds particularly interesting to me. I much prefer psychological games over gore, but I can stomach blood and gore when it comes up. Thank you for the helpful review!
