I have never wanted to read horror, satire, or zombie stories, but this one seems so unique! I appreciate the lack of gut-spilling atrocity as well as the lessons learned by the protagonist. I might check this one out. Great review!

Yes, lack of gore sets it apart from other zombie stories. Thanks for your comment.

Sounds like fun! I will have to look for it.

This book has been on my to-read list for a while now, having read another good review about it. All the things you've shared here were really helpful. (I must say that the Amazon book cover is waaay more appealing than this one.)

Sharon Backovic, a girl with red hair, shambles out of her coffin as a zombie, after she dies tragically at her best friend’s wedding photo-shoot. She is still wearing the horrible pink bridesmaid’s dress. V. X. Morgoni, a reporter, investigates paranormal occurrences and is hot on the trail of a red-haired zombie wearing a fuchsia pink dress who accosted her on a bus stop. A minor-league actress impersonates the zombie Sharon to get her fifteen minutes of fame. How will these three stories collide?
I was sold on the introduction of your review on this book. I will read the entire story to answer my questions in mind - like how she died, became zombie, how this story would end, and all. Thanks for the succinct review.

I do like a good zombie book, especially the ones that show the struggle of the character after death. I like any "monster" book where the author manages to keep the character somewhat human. I really enjoyed your review, and I will add this book to my reading list so I remember to check it out when I get a chance. Thanks!
