Ben Schneider, the author of Chrome Mountain, is like a scientist for creating a fantastic sci-fi story like a real one.
Levi North leader of gang bikers together with his cronies keep on chasing with Sonya McCall his ex-girlfriend. Until such time Sonya had met Trey Radisson, the creator of VV1 which he destroyed after his nightmare.
Chrome Falcon (CF) a big, and untouchable organization wanted to capture Trey because of his capability in inventing high technology equipment that is very useful in their organization. As Sonya trying to rescue the scientist, they get into Chromes Falcon's trap. The CF cargo plane brought them into their base in the rocky mountain.
Luckily, they had escaped from there taking the million dollars and the diamonds. After a few days of being together, the tough woman and the nerdy attracted more to each other. Trey had met Nova Krenshaw the FBI, who is willing to help them in return by giving the CF information.
The story shows how the scientist willing to give up his dreams and invention for the sake of his countrymen. The love of God and the family has a big rule for his decision. It gives the readers an idea of what will happen if some people greed in power will discover the high technology equipment that will use to control our country. That, we have to trust our authority because not all are violators but, there are still faithful on their service and willing to help.
Even though, Sonya was previously a gang biker’s member but, the authority gives her a chance of not involving with those lawless men. This story will encourage those people who wanted to change and correct their lives. That, they deserve with a second chance in whatever mistakes has previously done. Listening to your guardian’s advice will make you choose the right direction in life, and taking care of them will be your best memories that will never be forgotten.
Although, there is more violence that happened in the story and he also uses some words like, slut, whore, jackass which is not suitable for the young readers, it never spoils me in reading the whole story. It views how people hunger with power does everything to get what they want, regardless of those innocent people who compromised with it. And also how modern technology can help us a lot and how it could also destroy us. I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars for captivating my attention in reading this story. I will be recommending this book to all readers because it has full of actions and adventures.
