I liked how you mentioned the awards the book won. They are impressive. I am not sold on the premise and the paranormal aspects. I'll pass, but thank you for your review.

Fiction is a lie, and good fiction is the truth inside the lie.
I think those words quoted from Stephen King could sum up what you'd like to express. Reality could be more unacceptable or abhorring could or would have been accepted, but such doesn't change the truth. Thank you for your insightful review.

I reckon we are of one mind regarding this book. Though the writing was fantastic, it is meant for mature audiences.
