The novel Chrome Mountain is a science genre. Its title is metaphorical. Chrome Falcon is a bikers gang terrorising citizens within the American cities. Sonya, one of the leading characters was a part of the gang. She fell out with them when their actions get from bad to worse. The gang is deadly. They kill people like chickens. Sonya fell in love with the gang leader who later introduces her to the gang. She disobeys her grandmother's commands against association with the gang. It is after her rape incident that she realizes her mistakes and decide to abandon the group and go back home. She masterminds the arrest of their leader and steals their money before her eventual desertion. They go in pursuit of her. It is in her course of running away from the gang that he meets Trey who is as well-being pursued by the group. The two are attracted to each other on the first sight and form a force that seeks to nail down the gang completely.

I loved the themes outlined by the author in his book -religion, technology, love and employees abuse. This portrays the book's reality. They are societal concerns. Sonya's grandmother is religious and trains her children in the ways God. She is furious whenever Sonya and her dad misses church and is seen laughing in the congregation when Sonya went to the altar to pour out her hearts. Her embrace thereafter is warming. Additionally, I was interested in the mystery surrounding Sonya's and Trey's arrest. The Chrome Falcon wants to exploit Trey's brains to advance their trade. Trey knows they are a deadly group and is willing to do everything he can to escape their radar. The high speed drives, chopper explosion to their eventual arrest was fascinating. I always wanted to know what happened next and in the process found myself reading many pages at a time. He finally is captured alongside Sonya. Trey is a techie, and they had learnt of his deadly weapon invention which could make them more powerful.

However, I disliked the downgrading of women as sex toys, cooking animals and child bearers. Levi says Sonya's place is in his home cooking for him and bearing him children. This assertion makes one of his men to even wonder at his sanity. Those sentiments are an abuse to the human species. Apart from that, Women are presumed to be persons with lesser brains than their male counterparts. Fortunately, Sonya proves the gang wrong when they fall for her trap by following the misdirection left behind in the Atlas to intentionally misdirect them. They had thought her dump to use that as a ploy to confuse them. They are the real dumbs.

I think the book is professionally edited as is manifested by no typo errors. It is well proofread. The authors English and choice of words was a plus and consequently made the readers work simple. I would recommend the book to lovers of thriller novels. The action of Chrome Falcon are all a series of thrillers. They are always in pursuit of one person to the next.

I give the book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I think the author was excellent in his writing. Moreover, the book had all the qualities I desire in a novel. The character development is excellent, the narrations were interesting and the author's language excellent. I had no reason to deduct a star. I really loved the book.
