Honestly, dreams can make stories or at least provide the basic plot or idea! I have read a book by Stephen King where he described in the foreword how he came by the idea of a ghost story from a dream. The idea of Twilight by Stephanie Meyer was also conceived in a dream.
P.S. I have about half a dozen (half-written) stories all of which stemmed from my dreams or nightmares. LOL!

I didn't know Twilight started from a dream. Interesting! That is cool you remember them and make use of them. I have to start trying to remember mine.
