Nice review. Ordinarily, I won't opt in to read religious books such as this but this thorough review on this particular books seems quite interesting and quite catchy. 'Pastoring is not what you think' will be a wonderful read for the religious freaks but definitely not me. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

Pastoring is not what you think? So how exactly do you know what I think about pastoring? The name is cool because it somehow implies you know about pastoring and you are here to change peoples view about it

This is my favourite kind of reading stuff. Talk of any book that addresses faith in God and i will be number one to have it. Great work from the author.

I personally love people who love to preach the word of God. Pastors and prophets are the voice of God at the level of his people. That is, God speaks to us through their purity and kindness

I'm not Christian, but this book does pique my interest a little bit, mostly because the main character has the same name as Job from the Old Testament. This coincidence (or not-such-a-coincidence) leaves the book open to intriguing possibilities, and it might be worth my time to see if any of them come to fruition here. Thank you for the helpful review.

I am a sole believer of living what you preach. No doubt the pastor in this book did so. Sadly is not my kind of book to read. Congratulations on BOTD.

A book about a pastor's experiences, preachings, and dreams. It seems thought-provoking and entertaining.

It is a religious book which is a good read too to break the monotony of the types of book we read everyday.

It's not my type of book, as I usually don't enjoy religious books. However, I am glad to see that it doesn't approach Christianity with the view that all Christians are perfect and, instead, admits the humanity and fallibility of even the pastor.

The much-avoided topic of pastoring thrown into the light for all to see is not be my usual type of book in my books list. However, the review shows that the author has more to offer than what many pastors are willing to share. I might consider reading this one sometime in the future.

I have read this book and reviewed it before giving it a 3 out of 4 stars. It was quite an hilarious read. Pastor Job just like Job in the Bible is a serious man of faith. Thanks for the great review.

I sampled the first few pages of the book. Pastor Job, the protagonist is concerned about the arms-related incidents in the USA but has a very strong belief in the power of God. As mentioned in the review by Espie, this book contains a strong and optimistic message about the belief in God and would interest people who love such a kind of read.

I'm a Catholic and I will be a Catholic for ever, mean while, don't discourage any man in any kind of quotes to follow your own religion.. Unless the person is willing to do so, be the best version of what you are and were you are. Thank you

For me, I can say that this is not my kind of book but it will be interesting to read a book where the protagonist is a religious fellow, very unusual and unique I must add. The review was very detailed and precise which prompts my curiosity to read the book.

Highly Religious books aren't really my forte but I'm glad that the protagonist in this one seems "real" in that he isn't perfect and that is clearly shown. I think I'll pass but I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. Thanks for the review!
