It seems like a very painful story, and here I was thinking that kind of crime was rare in the 1900s. I hope the killer(s) got what they deserved. Intriguing review.

Wow! How horrific would it be to learn a similar family secret of your own? *Chills* That's so admirable that this book was written in memory of these victims. I'll have to give this one a read!

The book sounds unique in a respect that it chooses real incidents happened in the past and track all subsequent details pertaining to these raps. Thanks for your thorough review.

The author did a wonderful job researching and putting together all of the evidence and details from these murders. Thanks for your comment!

I agree that Forschner brought justice and a voice to these women. It's truly a shame that some were blamed for their own murders, especially if they were considered to be "more experienced". Hopefully now, with a book like this, the victims can rest in peace. This has been my favorite book I've read so far.
