Heartaches2 by H.M. Irwing is a series of the Bad Boy Vibes. Having part one of the book filled with pain and desperation from all the characters, part two is quite the contrary. Get ready for an adrenaline rush.

We see how rape devastated Anna and Rafe in part one making them seem vulnerable to abuse from the Prestons and Erick Dayton. In this part we meet the "strong" Anna who is willing to do just about anything to put her past where it belongs. With Rafe by her side, she is strong enough to confront Matt, Jason and whoever wants to bring her down even if it means getting into a combat with them. In this part we see most of the characters finding ways of being at peace with themselves in their hard situations. With every win Anna and Rafe get, darkness always loom at every corner and so they find themselves yet in another episode of hunter and the prey. Pat struggling with his own skeletons and the past catching up with Anna and Rafe; this story can only get better.

If you've been following this series, you will find that this part offer relief to both the characters and the readers. While reading you will notice that the writer has included humor and action in the tale. I still can't forget the fight between Anna and Matt. It was so hilarious. The fact that the author was able to keep the plot intriguing to the end was just amazing with a simple writing style that made it easy to read.

What I liked most about the book was the author's ability to encourage the victims of rape that there is hope for justice. I also appreciate how the author sees women as "strong" through the character Anna.

Well every good book has its flaws and with this one, I felt that the author used a lot of description that sometimes sounded the same in various parts of the book. I noticed a few grammatical errors all of which didn't disturb much. You should read the book closely in chapter 9 because the author has confused the character Suzi with Anna. Lastly, I found the Australian grammar a little bit different from British English. That made it hard to understand the dialogue between the characters.

All in all I have enjoyed this book and I can confidently say to all the lovers of steaming romantic books, this one is for you. It will not disappoint. Packed with every bit of raging emotions especially lust and revenge. I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars since the author really did a good job with the plot and his message was definitely passed across. It would have hit a perfect score if it was edited thoroughly.

Sounds like a love story with a theme of overcoming adversity. Anna and Rafe seem to encounter challenges at every turn they make, but eventually conquer. The book is peppered with bits of humor too! It's too bad that at some point the characters have been confused, this can get very distracting. Thanks for the heads up on that. Great review!

I still saw Anna as weak in this book though. She sought Rafe's approval over everything. I think her character was strongest in book 3. I agree with the rest of your review.

I have read and written the review of Heartaches 2 by I.M Irwing. Anna Walters-Simmons acts as protagonist character in the story who suffered from cruelty, rapist and remorseless behaviors from her closely linked people. She is passing from a very poor condition full of grief but also trying to come back to its normal position with the desire of vengeance. Raphael Russo Brown, often called Rafe is the boyfriend of Anna and remains with in all of the difficulties suffered by her because all the conditions had also been suffered by him. The erroneous and disturbed mental conditions of both members bring them to a unity and match. Thanks for your great review.
