I agree, a cool concept for a book. It is annoying when a book is so good you want "more" and it is just not there. Still may be a book I'll pick up for a quick read. Thanks for the great review!

I have seen this book so many times, but I did not think it goes this deep. Is the sex trade in Morocco highlighted? Does the man's love for a 13-year-old girl gets revealed? Thank you for this candid review!

Thanks for leaving a comment. I actually had to go back a few times to verify what I thought I had read. I actually had sleepless nights on this one. That was a disappointing area of the book for me

It’s an interesting approach to bring three protagonists together at an Adele concert. The plot doesn’t quite catch my attention, and I do feel dismayed at the idea of a grown man falling in love with a 13-year-old girl. I appreciate your review!

Although I did enjoy the book, I thought that there should have been more to it. Instead of getting meat and two veg, I only got one veg. I would like to have learned more about the individual characters. Elias confused me. He said that he loved Malika and yet he left her. I also am a little unsure about a grown man falling in love with a 13-year-old girl. These facts caused me to not give a perfect score.

These lines of yours made me skeptical in picking up this book to read. I admire your honest review.

Though I'm not an avid fan of Adele, I like the concept of her song lyrics melding with the tale. I'll decide whether to read the story or not, after reading the first ten pages.

Not having well-developed characters can put me off from a book. Hence, I will pass this one. Thanks for the review!

I have heard so much about this book that I can't ignore the fact that this read certainly knows to satisfy its readers. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied that the reviewer enjoyed this read. Thank you for your review!

This book is written around Adele songs and it is about three different people from different parts of the world going to an Adele concert in Italy. It should have some interesting perspectives from the main characters' point of views.

I am not a Adele fan, so I am not intrested in this book. I did enjoy your meat and veg reference. Very original. Thanks for your review.

I had read other reviews on this book, always with perfect scores. However, I get what you mean. Sometimes better character development can make a book much more enriching.
I’m, however, an Adele fan and I won’t skip this one. But it’s refreshing to see the book through your eyes and it’s wonderful how the same book can be so different for each reader.
A very creative review, thanks!
