I think this book will be perfect for my son seeing that he is within the age bracket for this book. Toni sounds like a character that children would look up to.

It is such pleasure to see authors introducing innocent and pure stories for the children stories genre in times when the race is all about who writes the most complex and brain-storming content. Toni the Superhero by R.D. Base is one such pure read! Highly recommended!

Excellent review. The illustrations and images created life that makes to feel and understand the book as if i have read it. I Recommend the book for adults who are teaching children how to read and children who can read.

I love everything about this book after reading the review. The title and the cover of the book is so intriguing. A great read for the children. Nice review!

I am comforted by the words, "reading a book". Too many parents claim to not have the money to buy their children books, no excuse, there are libraries. Then parents (or one parent) claim they don't have the time to go to the library with their kids (oh wow, what a thrill they are missing there!) The learning attention given to a child I believe is in the capability to read, comprehend, spell, and write. These are the basic's that build a solid education. How could one be an architect if he couldn't read or spell? How could the President of the United States be competent if he couldn't read, write, spell, or comprehend? I highly applaud the author for being very creative in writing the book that captures the interest of children. As well, a great job in showing children how the family can be made up of different characters-diversity!

Looks an interesting books for the little kids who are learning how to read. The cover page and the pictures would be attractive to young readers not only to learn to read, but to educate and entertain.

What an insightful review! Thank you for sharing. This sounds like a wonderful book for children, one that shows them that not all superheroes need to fly and destroy New York City. He is kind and helpful and a wonderful role model.
