Thanks for an insightful and well-written review. I always like it when stories are written around real live events and places, especially when the plots are plausible. Well done!

The character development sounds really good and is an aspect where some adventure style stories fall down.

The twists and turns keep you engaged the entire way through. I've never read a political thriller but sure want to now! The characters are deeply interesting and written with thought. Love it!

I like the sound of the author leaving clues for alert readers, that's always fun. Otherwise, with its mention of a hospital bombing in Aleppo and hacking into US computer systems, this clearly draws on current events and is quite realistic. Overall, it sounds like a well-researched thriller with impressive characters like Amanda.

Great review! I am much more interested in this book now, having read this. It sounds like a great book with a lot of twists and turns, and that is, to paraphrase Martha Stewart, always a good thing. Thank you.

This one sounds quite interesting - especially after having taken a gander at the free sample of the book. I will have to add this to my TBR pile as soon as I can.

The reviewer did a good job in outlining the story line and remained objective in doing so. The modern day environment mingled with current events makes for a compelling read and forms the basis for a thrilling ride. The Amazon sample demonstrated how well the author developed the characters and seamlessly wove them into the tale. Kudos to the author!

The Last Assassination by James E. Doucette, this novel is about the middle east and the US army operations. The events that take place in the middle east, affected not only the war- affected countries but affect other countries like Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the White House.

The main theme of this plot is that a hospital at Aleppo gets destroyed by the bombing of the US drones and that bombing was not on the list of US mission.

The suspenseful part of the novel is that an assassin eliminated a terrorist who had bombed the hospital at Aleppo and that terrorist was hired by a major. All these things make this novel a suspenseful thriller worth to read.
